I've got to give my acceptance speech to the convention in about an hour or so. I'm not real good at public speaking in front of big crowds so I'm not looking forward to this one. I'm also not real good with teleprompters either. Or microphones. Or television.
I know this is a Republican crowd and their 'my people' but truthfully I have nothing in common with these folks. I bet very few of them have more than 4 or 5 houses at the most. Honestly these are Sarah's people. When Barack said they cling to God and guns he must have been looking at this crowd.
Lucky for me the Giants are playing the Redskins tonight so I'm hoping a lot of people won't be tuning in. Speaking of Redskins, I hear the folks up in Alaska are pretty pumped up about Sarah's speech last night. That would be great if she were running for President. She better not steal my spotlight. I deserve this. I didn't kiss Georgie's butt for the last 8 years to have some hillbilly broad from the back country wander in and steal my thunder.
